A highly rated and locally trusted collision repair center, located in Waterloo, IA

OVERVIEW

When we first met with Honn’s Collision Center, they were undergoing a much-needed facelift with their facility and needed to expand and hire more people. They desperately needed to modernize their tactics while never having a website and only functioning through their Facebook page.

We crafted a logo, an identity system, and a website. We also worked on their SEO, google profile, and social accounts to overall increase their non-existant web presence.

The main priority at the time was to attract more talent. With their legacy logo and the fact they didn’t even show up on Google, they were not getting the attention they needed.

With messaging, our goal was to communicate Honn’s story, services, and expertise. For being family-owned since 1978, it was almost like we were starting from scratch from the digital perspective.

brand & identity

We built Honn’s brand from the ground up to be eye-catching, edgy, young-hearted, and trusted. To do so, we created an iconic H design using the hyper-neon green. That green was sampled from their automobile paint provider as the brightest green.

The other elements of the identity are primarily bold typography usage and the green target design. We designed the target to represent a point of impact.

Website

We crafted the website and brought in all the brand elements. This is where the brand really pulled together and was able to really show how much the green jumps out.

We did an overall dark mode style web design so green could be used for headings and text and still be accessible.
